Medical Ascension Youth Lead the Way to Healthier Communities

Medical Ascension Youth are activated as community health leaders who directly help to improve the health of their communities. With place-based Medical Ascension Community Health Stations structured to improve individual health outcomes and collectively impact health equity in medically underserved areas, Medical Ascension Youth perform important health monitoring activities that help prevent, manage, and reduce complications from chronic disease. Medical Ascension Community Health Stations address socioeconomic and geographic access barriers as Medical Ascension Youth work to reduce health disparities by improving community access to relevant screening, preventive care, and management support. Medical Ascension Community Health Stations provide blood pressure monitoring, BMI with healthy weight management counseling, visual acuity exams, stroke risk assessment, nutrition guidance, and much more.

Level Up Against Opioid Epidemic Game: A Fun, Interactive Way to Learn and Lead

Our Level Up Against Opioid Epidemic Game is a dynamic, gamified experience designed to inform and empower youth ages 12 and up. Whether at recreation centers, schools, libraries, or community spaces, this interactive game turns critical information into a fun and memorable challenge.

Players explore:

What opioids are and how they affect the body
Current trends in opioid misuse
What defines a crime and how law enforcement gets involved
How to recognize risk, make informed decisions, and take action

With fast-paced questions, team-based play, and real-world relevance, the Level Up Against Opioid Epidemic Game promotes discussion, critical thinking, and awareness—all in a way that resonates with young people.

More than 100 youth have already played the game and gained valuable knowledge. Now it’s your turn to join the movement and bring this vital conversation to your community!

Med Mania Carnival

The Med Mania Carnival is a fun, interactive, and engaging way to learn about health and healthy behaviors. Powered by Medical Ascension Youth Leaders, this one-of-a-kind event brings the excitement of a carnival together with the impact of hands-on health education.

Guests of all ages — youth, adults, and families — can dive into health-themed attractions that are as entertaining as they are educational. From heart-pumping games to flavor-packed cooking demos, the Med Mania Carnival is an unforgettable celebration of health, wellness, and high-energy fun!
